Here's my latest video that gives you a real view on what goes on with all my Barbets, from 6.5 weeks old to almost 8 years old. they all get along and play together.
Nelum Himalis Belle from my dear friends Ritva and Göran Sjöstrom in Finland, is now Norwegian Champion. Here are some lovely photos of Belle and her only daughter Aquabees Amy Amour in Norway with a breathtaking photo where I couldn't cut out the background. It is just too magnificent...when you think of global warming and species disappearing... I'll stop right there, and smile!

Ursus di Barbochos Reiau de Prouvenco is now in Finland where he is now best friends with D'Illona de la serve de la chapelle d'Alexandre. My Che was not able to mate with him, because of a logistics problem in October and hopefully D'Illona will, when the time is right, Barbetgod willing.
Of the purest Barbets left in the world, there are not any in France any more. Udine is in the Netherlands, Ulyssia and Urgèle are in Sweden and Ulysse in in Switzerland. Food for thought?
Lets' play eliminate colors..:of Barbets with Barbet blood: that's more fun envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 29/03/2010 @ 20:06
(The serious part of this article will be moved to "old bloodlines". This one could be the rarest with one subject recently born. One.)
...Than eliminating Lagotto colors...in the Barbet! It seems more interesting to show how we belong to what everyone claims is an old breed, French, that showing how we can eliminate subjects?
"Petit rappel " d'histoire de Barbet..and of its colors, from the "old bloodlines". Is this really important, at this point in the survival of a rare breed (or just someone being vengeful and her sidekick following her?) The Barbet contributed to the Briard and the Beauceron... There have been Theses on the subject of the origins of shepherds written by very serious veterinary doctors. The color( "fauve charbonné" with black or gray) is one of the oldest dog colors that exist. Logical with a very old breed. Claiming its roots in the past is irrelevant unless you can show how they belong and evolved into what they are today.

1968 The color is written on the official SCC documents.

Recognize M Georgii( honorary member of the French Barbet club) and Mrs Fischer, his compagnon? Who are we looking to eliminate the barbet blood or the breeders? OR both? I'd say... anything with Barbet blood.
Good thing we all make mistakes and most of us wait til the pups grow up to decide what color they will be, right? We all know that the coat texture changes and so does the color. How many of us started with a dark brown and ended up with something looking like a pure poodle color?
For those who don't do the Homepage! envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 29/03/2010 @ 18:25
Colleen de la serve de la chapelle d'Alexandre in Sweden will be having puppies at the beginning of May.Dad will be Luddelumps Elvis and the inbreeding % is even lower than what it says.Keep in mind his mom is Ulyssia, of the purest Barbets left in the world. I am ever so much looking forward to this, you can't imagine. Thank you Ezia for what you did for me 5 years ago.
