Bounty(a Barbochos de Reiau de Prouvenco, brother to Bibiche), whom we haven't seen in a while is a big mate to Déclic, who is from Coccolina and Booly Wooly's 2008 litter.
Bounty is an available stud (C hips), that not being the only consideration. He is a powerful dog, not too tall carrying nice genes in him.
Déclic, right(Don Worry de la serve de la chapelle d'Alexandre) should be confirmed and have his hips done in 2010.
Keep in mind that when working with "old bloodlines" and a rare, very rare breed and the little barbet blood they have, they still
have in them,it's very difficult to select dogs...and trying to eliminate the poodle blood, as opposed to adding more.
So the task is not easy and it is not by any stretch of the imagination a "money making business" as some could be inclined to think.
Just because you have a female, and she is nice...finding a male is no easy feat!
In my humble opinion, You want a Barbet because you're interested in helping save the breed from extinction, not because it is a rare breed, to show off. If not, there are other dog breeds with their own characteristics.
Please keep that in mind when you are on a loooooooooong waiting list!
