Ready to roll, believe it or not?! envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 28/01/2010 @ 19:08 |
"Charlie" ( hi mom!) and 4 males slightly sedated, to go through the "works". Today:all the pups were vaccinated, chipped, DNA'd and gave blood for research on epilepsy. As I have said, all my pups are DNA'd and will contribute to any research available to save the breed from extinction. That's the least we can do. Hopefully everyone will contribute. Mom Che did the works and Bijou, who had already contributed to the research on epilepsy in Finland, is now DNA'd in France, and confirmed as most of you know.( she, by the way, had had the same strange attack as her brother Booly Wooly at the age of 4 months old, nothing since.I am looking forward to her being in heat.) ) To me (and many of us, I hope) , DNA is vital for the survival of the "old bloodlines" because we are now able to go back to births in 1992 and show proof of kinship, thanks to Harz di Barbochos Reiau de Prouvenco and prouve who's who regardless of the pedigree being right or wrong. YES.
PS: they will all be leaving starting in a week's time! Already... |
Ooooooooooooooops... envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 27/01/2010 @ 07:45 |
No, you haven't missed anything....Che's pups discovered that Coccolina, who should be having puppies in 2 weeks' time, could furnish them with "white gold", she of course, said nothing. I thought it was real cute and that you would enjoy it. It reminded me of a little anectdote from Mrs Pêtre( Barbochos Reiau de Prouvenco kennel of the Barbet Français; 40 years of barbet breeding, under " calendrier de l'avent 2009"). When she had her 2 litters born on the same day in June 1992 with Thesée as father: one with Douma and the other with Fenka, one of the mothers decided she wanted one of the other's pups because she didn't have that color in her particular litter so she went over and picked it out and took it back to her pen... Cute, huh. I am sorry that I can't tell you who did it because there are now some uncooth people stealing as one does (when one knows not much and can't answer "open type" questions), information off my site to use it against me and the Barbet to better attack and destroy the "old bloodlines". I would like to add that I have been entrusted with all of Mrs Pêtre's documents along with those of her Father Dr Vincenti, Mas de la Chapelle....just in case to attack me better they claim full knowledge of that, too. No names, but with elections coming up, you'll soon see their smiling faces. |
And then, they take over! envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 26/01/2010 @ 12:45 |
Found Estrellaou chewing away on my shoe in the bathroom. Bijou and Everlasling Love, Estrellaou with her shoe...well, mine, but. Not a good idea to give pups shoes, because then they eat yours... |

Bijou Babe: a little princess envoyé par Elaine Fichter le 20/01/2010 @ 19:37 |
Bijou, dear heart, is Booly Wooly's sister and she certainly has a lot of merit. I do look forward to her hopefully having a litter. The full-fledged wonderful character that makes the Barbet what he is... |
